Leisure Suit Larry Remake to Launch in May

The remake of 1987’s Leisure Suit Larry: In the Land of the Lounge Lizards, which was Kickstarted earlier this year, will release in the second half of May.

Speaking to Joystiq at GDC, Replay Games CEO Paul Trowe said the game would launch between May 15th and 30th. While an HD update of the original game, it was revealed that many of the puzzles have been altered so that fans can’t just blaze through the remake.

Leisure Suit Larry will be available on PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Steam, Ouya, Linux and Blackberry.

My girlfriend and I played/beat this last summer. It's pretty funny, if you're into that sort of humor (I am). The most annoying thing is the casino. Win-Save-Lose-Restore-Repeat.

I never did play this game, but a lot of people seem to dig it. My buddy Kevin of KHan Games was working on an NES version of it. I'm not sure how far along he is or if he dropped the project altogether.
