Thief Gold – An HD Texture Mod

A  MODDB user by the name of Bentraxx is currently working on a HD texture mod for Thief Gold.

Set for release on April 30th of this year, the mod aims to replace all the textures of the 1998 game (from walls to water), in an effort to make the game a bit more appealing for the eyes.

With the announcement of the new Thief reboot coming out in 2014, this may just be the way to get newcomers to investigate the earlier installments of the series.
