As a Star Wars fan, those battle animations are both hilarious and surreal. I also totally agree about the weirdness of the Tusken Raider pick. Lazy!

Well I'm happy to say that I played this game quite a bit as a kid. But it was the Windows 3.1 version. It looked somewhat similar to this version you have shown us here but I feel like the Sega CD version was missing something. Can't quite put my finger on it.... Great game though. Always had fun playing it and it was a nice surprise to see you cover it Joe. Good work!

Nice vid. Really been enjoying your stuff since I found you. This game reminds me so much of the old Battle Chess I used to play on Windows. The animations and gameplay are similar, and it's all just so fantastic in its cheesiness.

@Aggro Sky Thanks! I think what might be missing from the PC version is walking animations. I haven't played it myself but a buddy was telling me about it after this episode came out. He also said that they took FOREEEEEEEEEVER.

I haven't played Battle Chess personally but I've seen a lot of videos from it, and this is definitely the Star Wars version of that concept.
