Thief Gold HD Texture Mod

New Thief got you down? Old Thief looking a little shabby? There’s a mod for that.

Created by Bentraxx Productions (a one man team), the Thief Gold HD mod was released on December 9th, 2013 with the goal of bringing the original Thief game (Thief Gold) into the world of high definition. The only caveat of course is an increased need for CPU/GPU power, and the inability to use your previous saves.  With a convenient installer, the mod is relatively easy to get working, and you’ll killing guards in HD before you know it.

The full feature list is as follows:

  • HD textures for all original missions
  • New vegetation
  • Nnew water and lava textures
  • New torch and fire flames
  • New Fog FX (Applies only to the following missions – Escape!, Strange Bedfellows, Into The Maw of Chaos)
  • New Bugbeast HD skin
  • New Burrick HD skin
  • Zombie HD skin
  • New “t2skies” skies
