The controller really slowed things down, to the point where it was difficult to perform some of the more time-limited events. After distracting Ed by ringing the doorbell there's a bunch of stuff to steal from his room and it was impossible for me to get everything and sneak back out without getting caught. It just took too long to maneuver with the d-pad.

Yeah, playing with the D-Pad definitel--oh wow apparently that is THE thing to say about this game, oops.

I never played Maniac Mansion, but controlling a cursor with a d-pad looks insufferable. I would go with PC for sure.

As for Maniac Mansion, I've never, ever played it. Simply because I never wanted to play a 'point n' click' with controller. Maybe the PC version is the way to go.
