Double Dragon 2 Remake Launching Next Week

Hey, remember that Double Dragon 2 remake? Neither did we, but it’s launching next week on XBLA.

Announced yesterday on Major Nelson’s blog, this Double Dragon remake has been in development since 2011. Now titled Double Dragon 2: Wander of the Dragons, this Gravity developed game will cost you 1200 Microsoft points.

Taking a 2.5D perspective, it’s safe to say it barely resembles the original game.

As the stellar Xbox Marketplace description says: “This is a remake “Double Dragon II” a 80’s game. The story line takes same as original game story. However, the graphic, character, action, system etc. are change. Also we are including new stage and enemy in the game. The player will be addicted to new version of Double Dragon II. Also, characters are undressed from 80’s style, and recreated with modern sexy and beautiful style that amaze you and feel never been experienced world before.”

That high pitched "Uh!" when he poses in front of the, I guess it's a Bruce Lee sign, that sound... ugh. That one level looks a lot like Sunset Riders to me haha Doesn't look like it's something to be highly excited about for sure.

@actblazer I was thinking the same thing watching that trailer. Looks like wretched AI. Plus the "...beautiful style that amaze you and feel never been experienced world before." line rivals "All your base" for worst Engrish ever. That level where they're riding on the logging truck looks ultra CHEAP in terms of cheap, unavoidable hits.
