Perhaps NRA Varmint Hunter is a genius conspiracy: The NRA wanted to put out a game so bad that it would stop people from playing games entirely. If that were true, it sounds like they got pretty close!

Dark Castle was one of those games that would always be going for ridiculously cheap, so I'm glad i managed to avoid it back in the day! (Not that cheap = bad. The likes of Strider and Decap Attack were always heavily discounted too)

Totally agree with @Bigjoe91 on bad games. I suppose it depends on your definiton of 'bad:' Personally, I prefer to stick with a more quantifiable definition (EG, the collision detection doesn't work, or the game is technically impossible, or the physics/graphics are below par for that system etc,) but i can definitely see how "if you like it, it's not bad" is an equally valid argument.

When listening to the audio: "Where are you going? Where are you going? Don't go down too far!" Is kind of a weird thing to say, especially with no information afterwards.

Furthermore, Bailey, you can love a bad game. I chose a bad game I love. Screw this, I'm voting for Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

But I guess I have to vote for one of these three. I seriously think Bailey's game is limited, not bad, but I have to agree with the Game Boy argument. If you play Mega Man II on the Game Boy first, you won't see the difference. Take Kirby Dream Land for example, it's good, but not even near the satisfaction of the second or the NES sequel. Guess Mark gets my vote!

Aggro Sky

You know, I hate it when they take a stellar game and then dumb it down for a portable version. This really isn't necessary. If you want a really good example of a fantastic portable game based on a regular console series, look no further than the Shinobi games on the Game Gear. Both of them are stellar and in no way inferior to the home console versions of Shinobi games. In fact, I'd argue that they far surpassed the Master System Shinobi.

And didn't you say you got a Game Gear recently @erichunter? Pick up GG Shinobi and the sequel if you get around to it. You won't be disappointed.
