I think you nailed it. The slowdown in this port is unacceptable. This is just a chop job. And sadly, I blame Sega. With Capcom's 25th anniversary recently, Capcom did right by putting out as many "great" titles of Mega Man as they could. You didn't see them porting a classic title to a handheld creating a crippling version (and if they did, I didn't see it).

I feel sad for Sega.... but my fanboyism never waivers!

This was a nice review. Still, ugh, my ears. This goes to show that, with enough time, fans can do better than the companies themselves. (THIS GAMER DOES NOT ENDORSE EMULATION)

Nice review Alex. I had no idea about this port but watching that footage was torturous to say the least. It was obviously an extremely lazy port.

@ericmhunter Thanks Hunter. I think it makes things worse that Sonic was actually a good game, you know? I have no idea what Sega or Sonic Team were thinking.

@Chronoslinger @Aggro Sky Haha, considering the game sucks and I sold my gameboy advance years ago (I had one of those horrible first generation ones where you couldn't see the damn screen), plus I have a Genesis with the original game plus an emulated copy on my phone and PC (Shhhhhh), I'll have to pass. But thanks! :)
