Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. It utilized the expansion pack, and it was just a lot of fun. I spent hours on that game after I got it. It probably doesn't help that my Star Wars preference is the pilots, in the first place...

Super Mario Kart 64. Never has kart racing ever appealed to me more. The stages are unique, the 150cc challenge is really good and the 4 player battle system is amazing(even better than the latest Mario Kart). It has that addictive quality that has seemed to fizzle away from Nintendo games and is a testament to what the company used to be like. It's not every day a stand out game on a console is a racing game.

My favorite N64 game is Conker's Bad Fur Day. During the N64's lifecycle many of the games and especially the platformers were kid friendly... maybe a bit too kid friendly. Then comes Conker's Bad Fur Day out of nowhere with swears, boobs, and movie references everywhere (from Alien, Saving Private Ryan, to Clockwork Orange). It also had fun gameplay with fourth wall breaking mechanics and addictive multiplayer. Plus it had a singing mountain of poop... so there's that.

I'm doing this because sharing is fun, but I don't want to win the game, since I know I'll never play it. Anyway, my favourite N64 game is probably something different every day, but today it is Doom 64. I don't care that it's an inferior port. All I know is that the game is utterly unplayable for me unless I remap almost every single button. I then set it to the hardest difficulty (Watch Me Die!) and have the craziest amount of fun I've ever had beating an N64 game.

Seriously though, the game is just broken unless you remap most of the buttons.

Mine is Banjo-Kazooie. It's just so inventive and unique. The music is amazing, controls are great, levels are gorgeous, it's just one of the only games I can think of without a major flaw

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. It's my favorite because it's got that same Zelda formula, but it feels more like a journey than any Zelda game I've played.

Gotta go with Fighters Destiny

I love fighting games and this had the great twist of a score system like Judo that gave you different points depending on whether you used a throw, fought them like normal, used an instant knockout move or super move after chipping down their health

Plus one of the unlockable characters was a cow called Ushi and with its taunt it would pull out a jug of milk and drink it, if you were caught in the backswing of the jug you would get insta knocked out!

For N64 I gotta go with Star Fox 64. I can't recall how early/far into my time with the N64 I had played it, but I think it was one of the first N64 games I had played that actually got my adrenaline pumping on a regular basis...then came Area 6 for the first time. :D

BECAUSE it was the first game I saved up for (and pre-ordered) by myself, and probably the first one I can remember being engulfed in the world of the game. It remains my favorite Zelda and probably favorite title period to this day.
